Celebrated 134th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on 14.04.2024 at Agricultural College, Adilabad. Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Adilabad garlanded and paid floral tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, while addressing the gathering and briefed about the contributions of Dr BR Ambedkar and requested the students to inculcate the teachings of Dr B R Ambedkar which will be a great contribution to the society. In this programme teaching, non teaching staff and B.Sc.(Hon’s)Agriculture, Students have participated and offered floral tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. On this occasion all the teaching, non teaching staff and B.Sc.(Hon’s)Agriculture, Students delivered informative speech on life history of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and also highlighted his achievements and contributions. Emphasized on protests against social injustices faced by people belonging to backward castes in India. In this programme OISA of this college Dr. M. Suresh, Assistant Professor (Soil Science), briefed that We all know him as the father of the Indian constitution. But his contribution is not limited to just this. He was a very talented person. He was a politician, a social reformer, a jurist and an economist. He always fought against the injustices prevalent in Indian society. On this occasion, Essay writing competition was conducted to students of B.Sc.(Hon’s)Agriculture, Agriculture College Adilabad on the topic “Role of Dr. B R Ambedkar in formation of Indian constitution” and prizes distribution was done.
