150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi(Bapuji) - 2nd October, 2019 at Agricultural College, Jagtial

The College of Agriculture, Jagtial celebrated 150th birth anniversary of Sri Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the College Virtual Class room with the participation of teaching and non-teaching staff and students. Dr. K.B.Suneetha Devi Associate Dean spoke about Bapuji &shastri the renowned freedom fighters and activist and they struggle for the Statehood of India. Dr.T.Srikanth NSS officer addressed the students on the eve of international non-violence day .Dr. K.Chandrasekhar (OSA) expressed the role of Bapuji in the independence movement.all the teaching and non-teaching ,students,out sourcing employes were actively participated in this programme.The programme ended with Mr.Alavala Uma Rajasekhar, NSS Programme Officer proposing vote of thanks.On this occasion distributed prizes to the winners(students) who were participated in the essay writing and elocution competitions.
