150th Birth Anniversary celebration of Mahatma Gandhiji at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad on 03-10-2019

On the occasion of 150th Birth anniversary of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, the NSS unit and Physical Director of College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar organized various programme at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr.D.Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Dean of Agriculture, Dr.Jella Satyanarayana, Dr.Seema, Associate Dean, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar and NSS Programme officer, Dr.T.Lavanya and other Teaching, Non-Teaching and Outsourcing staff participated in the programme. All participants paid homage to the great leader by offering floral tributes. Addressing the students, the Dean of students Affairs, stressed the importance of Gandhian philosophy and principles of non violence and truth. The Dean of Agriculture, talked about the relevance of Gandhian principles to the modern society to build a peaceful and better society. They urged students to inculcate the noble values of the great leader to achieve prosperity in life. To mark the 150th Birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation , various activities such as essay writing, blood donation camp, “FIT India Flag Run” were organized at the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar and prizes were distributed to the winners. Twenty two students voluntarily donated blood and were given blood donor” certificates the programme concluded with participation of 100 students in the FIT India run to emphasize the need for fitness and cleanliness.
