III year Students of Agricultural College, Palem conducted donation Programme at Old Age Home, Bijinepally

On the ocassion of 150th Birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi, Students of III year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agril. along with Dr. P. Raghu Rami Reddy, Associate Dean, E. Sathyanarayana, Asst. Professor & OISA, Dr. K. Charan Teja, Asst. Professor & NSS officer and Er. J. Veeranna, Asst. Professor & NSS officer and K. Rahul Viswakarma, Asst. Professor have organized donation programme to old age people at Prashanti Nilayam, Bijinepally. Students have shared their views on the occasion and thanked Associate Dean and staff for participating in the programme. E. Sathyanarayana, Asst. Professor & OISA expressed that students should look after their parents properly and help the old aged people in the society. Dr. K. Charan Teja, Asst. Professor & NSS officer thanked the staff of Prashanthi Nilayam for their service to the society. Later Sister Vijaya, Coordinator, Prashanthi Nilayam thanked the college for conducting this programme. She also stressed that students should inculcate good habbits and bring good name to the parents, college and nation. Later Associate Dean, Dr. P. Raghu Rami Reddy appreciated the efforts of third year students for conducting the programme. He also mentioned that India is known for relationships and joint families earlier but now a days due to change n social structure these are lacking. He urged the students to respect the elders and love them and spend time with the parents and value the relationships. Later Students of III year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agril. along with staff donated groceries, utensils and fruits to old age people. Finally, Er. J. Veeranna, Assistant Professor thanked all the members for participating in the programme.
