ARS, Adilabad – T&V meeting conducted on 20.07.2019

Agricultural Research Station (ARS), Adilabad has conducted Training & Visit (T&V) programme at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Conference Hall, Adilabad on 20.07.2019. Programme started with welcome address given by Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Senior Scientist (Agronomy) & Head, ARS, Adilabad and chaired by Dr. R. Uma Reddy, Associate Director of Research (ADR), RARS, Jagtial & DAO, Adilabad Smt. V. Asha Kumari. In this programme, main issues like drought mitigating strategies, sucking pests & pink bollworm in Cotton; stem fly & stem girdler infestation including micro nutrient deficiencies in Soybean were raised by the various Assistant Directors of Agriculture & Mandal Agricultural Officers of Adilabad. In response to problems, concerned Scientists have given relevant technical solutions. At the end, the ADR has appreciated the team work of Adilabad Scientists & Officers of Agricultural department. In this programme, Dr. Y. Praveen Kumar, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Adilabad; Dr. V. Suchitra, Senior Scientist & Head, HRS, Adilabad; KVK Scientists; DAATTC Scientists & divisional ADA’s & Mandal Agricultural Officers have been participated.
