Agricultural Education Day at Agricultural College, Jagtial

Agricultural Education Day was observed on 03.12.2019 at Agricultural College, Jagtial, PJTSAU to commemorate the Birthday of the first Union minister of Agriculture of India and First President of Independent India, Bharat Ratna, Dr. Rajendra Prasad . On this occasion floral tributes were offered and the school students were invited to the college to create an awareness and exposure to the various facets of agriculture and its importance in the economy. Dr.K.B.Suneetha Devi, Associate Dean explained about the importance of Agricultural Education Day. She said that the main objective behind organising the Day was to encourage the school students and students were exposed to various technologies, crops, labs in the college. The visit has aroused the interest of the students towards the profession of agriculture. NSS Programme officers Dr. M. Vijayalaxmi, Dr. T. Srikanth and Dr. A. Umarajashakr, Dr.Y.Archana Karuni, Dr.Swarna Sri, Dr. O.Sampth, Dr. G. Satyanarayana Reddy, Dr. T. Sravan kumar, Dr.S.Srinivas Naik and students had participated in this event.
