The University offers B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering), a four year degree programme. The Minimum residential requirement is eight semester and maximum duration is fourteen semester. (7 Academic years.)

Admissions under M.P.C. Stream(EAMCET)


The University issues notification for inviting online applications from the candidates under M.P.C. stream for admission into B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) based on the Telangana EAMCET ranks in all leading newspapers and all the details will be placed on the University website during the month of May/June.

B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) and B.Tech (Food Technology)


The University offers B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) and B.Tech (Food Technology) courses (four year duration). Admissions for the M.P.C. stream courses under Farmers’Quota (@40% of total intake of seats) are made by the University through counselling and under Non-Farmers’Quota (@60% of total intake) are made by the State Council of Higher Education through counselling along with the other Engineering courses of the state.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA


1. A pass in two year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate board with the following subjects namely:

  • Physically Sciences
  • Mathematics

2. The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in Telangana State EAMCET in their respective local areas out of the merit list prepared for this purpose. The candidates will be selected based on merit by following rule of reservation.


NON-FARMERS’ QUOTA


The selection of candidates for all seats under Non-Farmers quota (@60% of total intake) shall be made through the online counselling conducted by the TSCHE on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in the Telangana EAMCET along with the other engineering courses under single window system.

The candidates who wish to seek admission should appear for the counselling conducted by the TSCHE. The details of the counselling schedules of TSCHE shall be placed by the council.

FARMERS’ QUOTA


The University conducts counselling for the candidates coming from families of Agriculture to fill up 40% of total intake of seats in both B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) and B.Tech (Food Technology) courses.
