Awareness Programme on alternate crops for yasangi and Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) conducted at Adopted Village,Meedikonda by RARS,Warangal on 07-10-2021
Regional Agricultural Research station, Warangal has conducted “Awareness Programme on alternate crops for yasangi season” and “Participatory Rural appraisal techniques” in the adopted village Meedikonda, Jangoan district on 07-10-2021. Dr. B. Anil Kumar (Senior Scientist DAATTC, Warangal) has explained the crops to be grown for next yasangi season alternate to Paddy, he also suggested control measures of different pests and diseases of present crops cultivating in the village, Dr.M.Madhu (Scientist, Agronomy) has briefed the package of practices has to be followed for different yasangi pulse crops, P. Shiva Kumar (Scientist, CCS, Agri Economics) has prioritized the different problems of village based PRA techniques such as social map, resource map, venn diagram, time line and seasonal analysis. In this programme RAWEP students under DAATTC Warangal, Agriculture Department officials, Officials of Coromandal Pvt ltd, Village surpunch, Rythu samanvaya samithi coordinator and 50 farmers were participated.
