Awareness on Anti-ragging at APT, Kampasagar on 26-09-2019

Awareness programme on anti-ragging to first and second year diploma students was organised on 26-09-2019 at Agricultural Polytechnic, Kampasagar. Dr.K.Sumalini, Vice-Principal, APT, Kampasagar, Dr. I. Swarnalatha Devi, Principal Scientist & Head, ARS, Kampasagar, Mrs. V. SriRamya, Assistant Professor (SSAC) and Mrs. G. Swathi, Assistant Professor (Horti) have participated in the meeting. Ms. V. Anusha, Sub-inspector of Police (i/c), Tripuraram Mandal was the chief guest for the programme and she gave speech on ragging, its punishments, programmes run by government like SHE teams to protect women from harassement. Further, she told both seniors and juniors should have friendly atmosphere by cooperating each other. A total of 46 students attended the programme and students also revealed their good experiences.
