Awareness Programme on Cultivation of Korra and Value Addition at Agriculture Polytechnic, Tornala on 26-09-2019

Awareness programme to farmers on “Cultivation of Korra and Value Addition to Products” was conducted at Agriculture Polytechnic, Tornala on 26-09-2019. Korra crop was raised by the Second year Diploma students as a part of PAMP. Dr. S. Sridevi , Principal explained about the suitability of the crop for the region, various agronomic, interventions required for cultivation of the crop Mr. A. Sathish and M. Saicharan, Assistant Professors informed farmers about the fertilizer and pest management aspects of the crops. About 25 farmers from Tornala village attended the programme. All the Second year Diploma students also took part in the programme.
