Celebration of World Soil day in adopted village (Serigudabhadrayapally) by AICRP on STCR Scheme and RR Scheme on 05-12-2019

World Soil day was celebrated with a theme “Stop soil erosion and save our future “at adopted village Serigudabhadrayapally, Kothur mandal, Ranga Reddy district on 05-12-2019 by AICRP on STCR scheme, Hyderabad along with Rice Research Scheme, Hyderabad. Farmers were enlightened on “Importance soil health and its management”. Advantages of soil testing and saving of input cost on fertilizers were explained to the farmers in the scientist farmer interaction meet. Interpretation of soil health cards and fertilizer application for major crops of the village was also enlightened to the farmers. Eighty nine soil health cards were distributed to the respective farmers of the village.
