APT, Kampasagar - Celebration of birth anniversary of Acharya Kothapalli Jayashankar on 6th August, 2022

Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar birth anniversary was celebrated at Agricultural Polytechnic, Kampasagar on 06.08.2022. Dr. I. Swarnalatha Devi, Principal, Mrs. G. Swathi, Assistant Professor (Horti), Mr. M. Parusharamulu, Sr, Assistant, Diploma II year students and contract labour have participated in the Programme. The programme was started by offering floral tributes to Prof. Jayashankar. On this occation, Essay writing competitions were conducted to diploma II year students at APT, Kampasagar and prize distribution was done. Dr. I. Swarnalatha Devi said that Prof Jayashankar was an Indian academic and social activist. He has extended services as ideologue to Telangana movement as well as fought for separate Telangana state since 1952 until his last breath.
