Complete Blood Profile picture diagnosis of students of Agriculture College, Palem

As per University recommendations, Associate Dean, Dr. P. Raghu Rami Reddy started complete blood profile picture diagnosis for all B.Sc. (Hons.) Agril. students of Agriculture College, Palem at District Govt. Hospital, Nagarkurnool on 29thAugust, 2019 in presence of Medical Superintendent,District Govt. Hospital, Nagarkurnool, NSS officer incharge Dr. K. Charan Teja and other staff. Associate Dean, Dr. P. Raghu Rami Reddy stressed the importance of blood profile in human health. He also mentioned about prevailing fevers like malaria and dengue which can be controlled easily because of recent advances in medical field. Later, Medical Superintendent, District Govt. Hospital, Nagarkurnool urged the students for primary checkups and to follow the medications. He clearly mentioned that every viral fever is not dangerous. Totally 215 students were diagnosed in this programme. This programme was taken up for diagnosing complete blood profile picture of the students and various parameters of blood like RBC, WBC, Lymphocytes %, Neutrophiles %, Platelet count, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH etc. were diagnosed.Out of total 215 students, 95% of them were found in normal whereas 5% of the students especially girls were found low in haemoglobin content. The programme was ended up on 21stSeptember, 2019.
