Constitution Day on 26th November, 2019 Celebrations at CFST, Rudrur

Constitution day was celebrated in the College of Food Science & Technology (CFST), Rudrur on 26th November 2019, at 10.15 a.m. Dr. R. Swamy, Associate Dean, College of Food Science & Technology (CFST), Rudrur paid homage to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar by garlanding and lighting candle. Er. G. Rajender, NSS officer-in-charge, Teaching & Non-teaching staff and students paid floral tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Students spoken about Indian constitution and implementation of reservations etc. Dr. R. Swamy, Associate Dean addressed the gathering importance of “The constitution, fundamental rights, justice, social, economic and political; liberty of thought, expression and equality of status”. Also enlightened the role of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in drafting the Indian constitution. Er. G. Rajender, Asst. Professor (NSS officer) spoke on social harmony and balance between our rights and duties’ enshrined in the Constitution of India. Dr. T.V.N. Padmavathi, Asst. Professor highlighted the responsibility of common citizen towards make this county more powerful and harmony. All teaching, non-teaching staff and students participated in NSS rally (awareness rally) conducted from CFST college campus to Rudrur town. During this rally, students raised the slogans on importance of constitution, fundamental rights and duties etc., to spread awareness among the people.
