DAATTC Karimnagar organized Awareness cum interaction programme on Crop Diversification” at Pothuru village of Ellanthakunta mandal in Rajanna Siricilla District. Sri.K.Shekar, Coordinator & Scientist (Crop Production) has explained the farmers and extension functionaries about alternate crops suitable for this area. Where he suggested to grow Bengal gram, Green gram and Sun flower in rice fallows and sesame in cotton follows by following good management practices to get more income apart from regular cultivation of paddy during coming season. Dr.K.Madan mohan reddy , Scientist (ToT) has suggested the farmers to adopt integrated farming system approach to doubling the farmers income. Later on a diagnostic field visit was conducted and measures in the present rice crop to be followed were suggested to the village farmers. Int this programme MAO, Ellanthakunta Sri.Sandeep, cluster AEO D.Latha sri RSS Members & 52 farmers were participated in this programme.
