D.A.A.T.T.C., Karimnagar organised “Sensitization programme on Kisan Sarathi powered by IID Son 18-01-2022 at Thaduru village of Rajanna Sircilla District

Kisan Sarathi is a joint initiative of Indian Council of Agricultural Research & Digital India Corporation which provides an intelligent online platform for supporting agriculture at local niche with national perspective. In this regard D.A.A.T.T. Centre, Karimnagar has organized Sensitization Programme on Kisan Sarathi powered by Interactive Information Dissemination System (IIDS) at Thaaduru village of Thangalapalli mandal in Rajanna Sircilla District. Dr. K. Madan Mohan Reddy, Scientist (ToT) sensitized the farmers about the Kisan Sarathi Service. He said that farmers can contact directly with the Toll free number 14426 or 1800 123 2175 for obtaining information on activities related to Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal husbandry and fisheries. He informed that DAATT Centre, Karimnagar sending regular information on weather, pest & disease management and other important need based messages in the form of text and voice by utilizing the service of Kisan Sarathi for the benefit of farming community. He also emphasized the farmers to get subscribe PJTSAU You Tube channel for latest updates in agriculture technologies. Sarpanch–Smt. Saritha Naveen Rao, Village Rythu Samanvaya Samithi member Sri. Rangu Srinivas, Agriculture Extension Officer - Sri. Aziz Khan and around 30 farmers have participated. This programme was conducted by following the covid regulations.
