DAATTC, Karimnagar organized Sensitization Training programme on Annapurna Krishi Prasara Seva (AKPS) Service at Rajanna Sircilla District on 27-11-19

In the era of digitalization, utilization of ICT tools is very much helpful for farmers and also scientific staff to reach unreached farmers. Using the service of IIDS-AKPS, DAATT Centre, Karimnagar reached the farmers in erstwhile Karimnagar district. DAATT Center, Karimnagar sending regular information on weather, pest & disease management and other important need based messages in the form of text and voice by utilizing the service of IIDS-AKPS. Today under AKPS services organized Sensitization Training programme at Angal village of Chandurthi manadal of Rajanna Sircilla district by Sri.K.Shekar, Coordinator & Head (i/c), and Dr.K.Madan Mohan Reddy, Scientist (ToT) who is the in charge for the AKPS services under this centre. He Explained the procedure for installation of IIDS-AKPS mobile application and mobile number registration from nodal centre under AKPS service. By this farmers can call directly to the Scientists of concerned disciplines in DAATT Centre and can get timely replies to their queries from farmers fields itself. DAATT Centre is creating awareness programmes on AKPS services to farmers throughout the erstwhile Karimnagar district. Done registration of farmers under this services especially registered farmers through IIDS-AKPS mobile application and done demonstration on how to contact scientific staff regarding crop problems by Dr. K. Madan Mohan Reddy. In this training Sri.K.Shekar, Coordinator & Head (i/c) explained about the winter nursery management, awareness on fertilizer usage in crops, best management practices in bengal gram and mechanization. MAO Durgaraj, AEO's, Sarpanch sattaiah, RSS coordinator Janardhan and farmers were participated.
