DAATTC, Tornala-Field visit of the HDPS cotton with pneumatic planter, Wet DSR and Dry DSR in the farmers field by the ADR, RARS, Warangal on 10-08-2022

Field visit of the Dr. R. Uma Reddy, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Warangal to the FLD- Demonstration HDPS cotton planted manually at 90x15 cm spacing in farmer field of Ganesh, Narsannapet (V), Markook (M) and planted with Pnematic planter at 90x17 cm in Ram Mohan Reddy farmer at Eravelly (V), Markook (M) on 10.08.2022. Later, he interacted with farmers to know their preference and performance of HDPS cotton (90x15 cm) compared with manually planted normal spacing cotton (90x90 cm or 90x45cm). He suggested the Coordinator to conduct a field day in HDPS cotton sown with pneumatic planter for wide spread of the technology. Later, visited FLD- Demonstration of different methods of rice establishments in G. Sudhakar Reddy (Wet DSR), Venkat Reddy (Wet DSR) and D. Balaswamy Reddy (Dry DSR) with JGL-24423 variety. Further visited, OFT on Management of FAW in maize along with minikits Paddy (RNR-31479) and Redgram (WRGE-182) at farmer field of D. Balaswamy Reddy, Bandarupally (V), Thoguta (M). Dr. S. Sridevi, Principal Scientist & Head, ARS, Tornala, DAATT Centre scientists Sri. J. Vijay and Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Sri. Anil Kumar, ADA, Mulugu division, Dr. T. Nagender Reddy, MAO, Markook, Sri. Varun, AEO, Sarpanch and 15 farmers have participated in this visit.
