Director of Extension, PJTSAU visit to KVK, Palem on 08-10-2021
The Director of Extension, PJTSAU, Dr.V. Sudharani madam visited KVK, Palem on 08.10.2021. Initially DE visited all the demonstration units and seed production plots located in the KVK Instructional farm. Later enquired about implementation of the technical programme and performance of the FTMS app. DE addressed the teaching and non-teaching staff of KVK, Palem and DAATTC, Palem with closing remarks about the observations made during visit. She verified all the technical and office records. At the end all the scientists of KVK and DE madam were attended the field visit to the OFT on Assessment of new ridge gourd variety Arka prasan at Velgonda village of Bijinepally mandal.
The following points are raised by the DE madam for smooth implementation of technical programme
1. Organize as many as possible training cum awareness programs on crop diversification2. Collect & document the real time videos during the regular field visits
3. Collect the information more about the value addition and processing units located in the district
4. Give emphasis more on university ranking and promote the formation of FPOs & CHCs
5. Instructed to all write complete sentences in objectives, Hypothesis and Rationale columns
6. Observations to be taken in planning stage should be appropriate with the title of the trials
7. Data to be taken should fill well and enter all the columns without leaving empty
8. In OFT observations to be taken table should be revised by providing the data entry into T1, T2 & T3
9. Keep certificate page for all field note books
10. In training programme register give details of farmers & farm women’s and their social status also
11. Conduct pre &post evaluation for each training programme
12. Certify every year training programmes
13. Write publications on training programmes conducted
