Exposure Visit of Tribal Welfare Degree College Students to KVK, Malyal on 03-03-2021

Twenty three students of Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College for Women (TWRDCW), Mahabubabad visited Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal on 03-03-2021. The Botany and Zoology students were shown the demonstration units of the KVK, Malyal and imparted knowledge on Vermicomposting, Azolla cultivation, High Density Mango orchard by Smt. D. Usha Sri, SMS (Agromet). The students visited the Soil Science Laboratory and Agrometeorology observatory of KVK. Subsequent to the laboratory and field visit, Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Malyal interacted with the students, who apprised them of the importance of 3rd March, which is celebrated as World Wild Life Day across the globe. The Coordinator urged the students to take home, the know - how gained from the Krishi Vigyan Kendra and request their farming parents to implement the same.
