Field Day on Mechanization in Maize Crop at ARS, Karimnagar on 16-11-2019

Agricultural Research Station, Karimnagar organized a field day on 16.11.2019 on mechanization in maize crop. Demonstrated the combined harvester for harvest of maize crop sown with seed vaccum precision planter. It takes 1 hour for harvesting of one acre area and harvesting loss is 4-5 %. Dr. G. Manjulatha, PS (Agro.) & Head, ARS, Karimnagar sensitized the group about objectives and benefits of time, money and labour saving under mechanization. In this programme, DAESI programme input dealers, the research station Scientists, Dr. A. Vijayabhaskar, Dr. E. Rajanikanth & Dr. D. Sravani along with DAATTC, Karimnagar Scientists Sri. K. Shekar and Dr. Madan mohan and 2nd year students of Agril polytechnic, RARS, Jagtial along with Vice Pricnipal Dr. Suresh, Scientist Dr. Sadvi and ATMA officials Smt. Sravanthi and Anusha and local farmers attended Programme.
