Fit India Programme run by Agricultural College, Sircilla on 14-09-2020

The Agricultural College Sircilla organized Fit India freedom run programme at its adopted village on 14 Sept, 2020. The faculty, staff of the college including the farmers of adopted village participated the programme. Dr. K. Rajesh, NSS programme officer has given a brief account on idea and significance of conducting the programme in the village. He said that fit India freedom run impacts minimizing obesity, stress, diseases and anxiety thereby people become active, alert in performing daily routine works including farm operations. The concept of the programme is it can be run anywhere and anytime. T. Arunbabu, OISA opined that it is an unique programme and a better opportunity for all of us to improve our health status and building healthy India. The village Sarpanch, faculty and staff of Agricultural college, Sircilla including village youth, farmers have participated in the programme. Dr. R. Sathish, OIAM thanked all the participants and urged to make our country’s path towards fitness and wellness.
