FLD on Demonstration of ICM and IPM in Rice under TSP at KVK, Kampasagar on 23-07-2021

KVK, Kampasagar conducted FLD on Demonstration of ICM and IPM in Rice under TSP for the year 2021-22. As a part of FLD Rice variety KNM-1638 (25 kg bag) was distributed to 25 Tribal farmers of Phalgu Thanda on 23.07.2021 at KVK, Kampasagar. Method demonstration on seed treatment in rice was conducted in farmers field. Dr.M.Shankaraiah, Programme Co-ordinator, KVK, Kampasagar explained the farmer about importance of green manuring preceeding to rice for improving the soil fertility. Dr.M.Shankar, SMS (Plant Protection) explained about importance of seed treatment and other plant protection measures for managing the pest and disease attack. SMS (Crop Production) explained about package of practices to be adopted by farmers in rice cultivation. T.Himabindu, SMS (Horticulture) , S.Pallavi, SMS (Extension) and 25 Tribal farmers participated in the programme.
