Greengram (MGG-347) seed distribution cum training programme under SCSP at KVK, Malyal on 18-11-2021

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized "Training cum distribution of Greengram (MGG-347) seed to farmers” on 18-11-2021 under SCSP operating at KVK, Malyal. In this programme, seed of Greengram variety MGG-347 was distributed to 30 farmers from Vissampalli villages of Chinna Gudur Mandal, Mahabubabad district for Rabi Greengram in 30 acres. Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) explained the green gram production technology, pest and disease management and characters of MGG-347 Greengram variety to farmers. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator explained the importance of SCSP with special reference to pulses and reiterated that pulses are reliable alternate crops to paddy in the present growing importance of crop diversification in Yasangi. In this programme 30 no.of farmers participated.
