Inauguration of RHWEP for Home Science students at KVK, Palem on 09-01-2020

The RHWEP program for Home Science students (34 no.) has been inaugurated at KVK, Palem, Nagarkurnool dist. on 09-01-2020. The program is being implemented by attaching to a KVK first time in the University. Dr. P. Raghuram Reddy, Associate Dean, Agril. College has graced the occasion and addressed the students highlighting on activities to be performed by the RHWEP like conducting method demonstrations, awareness programs, skill oriented activities on value addition to fruits, vegetables, millets, pulses; promotion of kitchen gardening; promotion of health and nutrition among the women and children of poor socio-economic background, imparting skills on candle, paper bags, textile based products preparation etc. Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Program Coordinator, KVK, Palem, Dr. Afifa Jahan, RHWEP incharge at KVK, and all other scientists of KVK have participated.
