KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted a training programme for Extension Functionaries on “Importance of Farmer Producer Organization (FPOs)” at APMC Market Yard on 12.01.2021. Dr. V. L. Narayanama, Programme Coordinator has explained about the growing importance of FPOs in light of new Agriculture Farm bills, 2020. Dr. R. Vishwatej , SMS (Extension ) has explained in detail about the Need for FPOs, Concept, Success stories and Status of FPOs in the District. Sri. B. Venkateshwara Rao, AGM, NABARD has participated in the training as resource person and explained about the Central Schemes for promotion of FPOs implemented by NABARD. Ms. S. Vindhya, SMS (Agro met) has taken a session on Awareness on Agromet advisory services implemented by KVK, Kothagudem . A total of 58 AEOs have participated in the training programme.
