Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized training programme on “Good management practices in Chilli” on 22-09-2021

Training Programme on “Good management practices in Chilli” was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal at Rythu Vedika (Mahabubpatnam), Komatipalli of Kesamudram Mandal on 22-09-2021. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Hort.) explained about fertilizer management, mulching, fertigation, pest & disease management and integrated viral management in Chilli. He also explained about pest & disease management of Turmeric in the present situation. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extn.) explained about crop diversification with other crops (Greengram, Sesamum, Groundnut, Blackgram, Maize, etc) in place of Paddy during upcoming Yasangi.Later, the experts answered queries raised by the farmers and the programme was followed by field visit to Cotton, Paddy and Turmeric crops. Sri M. Venkanna, MAO, Kesamudram, Sri Ravivarma, AEO, Sri Swamy, MPTC, Sarpanches from 4 villages and 53 No.of farmers participated in the programme.
