KVK, Malyal organized 3 days Skill Training on “Honey Bee Rearing” under Tribal Sub Plan, 2020-21

KVK, Malyal organized 3 days Skill Training Programme on “Honey Bee Rearing” from 25th to 27th March, 2021 at KVK, Malyal under Tribal Sub Plan, 2020-21 to the Rural Youth. Sri Ravi Kumar, entrepreneur cum practicing apiculture farmer from Eluru, Andhra Pradesh acted as resource person for this training programme who delivered lectures on “importance of Honey Bee rearing”, “role of honey bees in pollination, quality and yield improvement in crops”, “season wise management practices of honey bee unit” and also showed demonstration on “handling of honey bee unit”, “honey extraction, packing and storage”, etc during the training period. 31 No.of Rural Youth from 4 TSP villages (Nelavancha, Mattewada of Gudur Mandal and Balya thanda of Kuravi Mandal, Bheemla thanda of Narsimhulapeta Mandal) attended the programme.
