KVK, Malyal – Organized Training Programme on “Kitchen/ Nutrition Gardening” under TSP, 2022-23 at Rythuvedika, Gudur on 27th March, 2023

Training Programme on “Kitchen/ Nutrition Gardening” to Extension Functionaries was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal on 21-03-2023 at Rythuvedika, Gudur under Tribal Sub Plan, 2022-23. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture) explained about kitchen gardening, terrace gardening and balanced diet through powerpoint presentation. He highlighted the importance of protective food in our diet, minor millets, growing of vegetables in backyard to ensure nutritional security. Smt. S. Kalavathi, ICDS Supervisor requested the participants to promote organic vegetables at anganwadi centres in their respective villages to meet the vegetable requirement. Smt K. Vijaya Kumari, ICDS Supervisor and 26 anganwadi teachers from Gudur cluster participated in the programme.
