Training Programme on “Kitchen/ Nutrition Gardening” to Extension Functionaries was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal at Rythu Vedika, Kesamudram on 08-10-2021. Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) gave introduction and explained about programme. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture) explained about kitchen gardening, terrace gardening and balanced diet through powerpoint presentation. He highlighted the importance of protective food in our diet, minor millets, growing of vegetables in backyard to ensure nutritional security. Smt. Durga, Supervisor, ICDS, Kesamudram participated in the programme. She requested the participants to promote organic vegetables at anganwadi centres in their respective villages on large scale. Sri Venkanna, MAO, Kesamudram addressed the gathering and explained about importance of nutrients in daily routine diet. Sri Rajendar, AEO and 26 anganwadi teachers participated in the programme.
