KVK, Palem organized one day awareness program on Jal Shakthi Abhiyan on 23-11-2021

KVK, Palem in collaboration with District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Nagarkurnool dist organized one day district level training cum awareness program on Jal Shakthi Abhiyan to MPDOs, MPOs, APOs, ECs & TAs at auditorium of RARS, Palem on 23.11.2021. The program was chaired by Sri. Uday kumar (IAS, Nagarkurnool dist) briefed about the different activities taken up by the KVK, Palem and District Ground water officer. Sri. Manu chaudary (Additional collector) spoken about the Harithaharam, soaked pits preparation. Dr. Ch. Damodar Raju (ADR, RARS, Palem) emphasized on alternate crops to paddy & crop diversification. Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy (PC, KVK, Palem) presented water conservation techniques like usage of sprinklers, drips, farm ponds, conservational tillage methods and per drop more crops. Mr. M. Rajashekhar ( SMS-PP) presented the various methods of composting & segregation of wet & dry waste. Dr. A. Shankar (SMS-Horti) presented raising of seedlings in protrays. In this program Sri. Narsingh Rao (DRDO), Smt. Rajeshwari (Additional DRDO), Sri. Natraj (APDO), smt. Ramadevi ( DGWO) & other district officials of various departments a total 200 members were participated.
