KVK, Palem organized awareness programme on "Soil Health Management" to the school teachers under Rashtriya Avishkar Saptah (RAS) 2022-23 in collaboration with District Educational Officer, Nagarkurnool at KVK Premises on 04.03.2023. In this programme, Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem illustrated the importance of soil fertility, balanced fertilization in enhancing crop yields and sustaining soil health through soil test based nutrient management. Dr.D.Vijaya Lakshmi, Scientist (Soil Science), RARS, Palem highlighted the importance of soil testing in fertilizer recommendations and explained the benefits of soil health cards. Sri.A.Krishna Reddy, District Science Officer, Nagarkurnool narrated the importance of Rashtriya Avishkar Saptah (RAS) 2022-23 to encourage school students towards exploration, innovation and experimentation.
