KVK, Palem conducted a Field visit of HDPS cotton fields at Nallavelli and Vaddeman villages Bijinepally mandal, Nagarkurnool district on 28.07.2023. Sowings were taken up during II FN of June with Armitha & Siri varieties and followed 90X20 & 90X15 spacing, the crop is at vegetative stage (25-30 days) and in good condition. Observed Leaf hopper incidence which is in below ETL. Suggested to spray Mepiquat Chloride (Chamatkar) @ 45 and 65 DAS depending on plant height (1.0 ml/lit & 2.0 ml/lit). In this visit Dr. O. Shaila, SMS (PP), Mr. Bhaskar, Field officer, Nuziveedu Pvt. Ltd. & 7 farmers were participated.
