KVK, Palem organized training cum awareness programme on vermicompost production technologies to the Village Panchayathi Secretaries of Charagonda and Vangoor mandals at instructional farm of KVK, Palem on 19.01.2021. Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem emphasized the importance of vermicompost for enhancement of soil fertility status, methods of composting by using all the village waste. Practically explained and demonstrated the different layers of bedding material application, days to watering, release of earthworms. In this programme Mr. Ushanna, Swach bharath Nagarkurnool district coordinator, 48 village level panchayathi secretaries, Sarpanches and multipurpose workers were participated.
