National Unity Day on October 31st, 2019 at Agricultural College, Warangal

The Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhai Patel’s birth anniversary (31/10/2019) is celebrated as the National Unity Day in India. In the memory of a great leader, Freedom fighter and supreme commander chief of Indian army during Indo-Pak War in1947; his vision and actions for the unity and integrity to restore peace in Independent India, we usually celebrate this National Unity Day. Agricultural College, Warangal organized a pledge taking event on national integrity by involving 130 students along with teaching and non teaching staff of agricultural college, Warangal. Dr. A.Venkat Reddy, Officer in charge of Academic Matters, Dr. J. Kamalakar, Officer in-charge of Student activities and Dr. N. Hema Sarat Chandra, NSS Program officer was addressed the gathering and revealed the importance of the event and requirement for the pledge “as we should never undergo any differences with other fellow Indians vis- a- vis caste, religion, region and status.” To improve our unity and to prove our responsibility to the national integrity teaching and non teaching staff of the agricultural college took pledge during the event.
