New Year 2020 celebrations at PJTSAU, Hyderabad on 02-01-2020

The New Year 2020 celebrations were held at the Administrative office of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University on 02-01-2020. Dr V Praveen Rao, Vice Chancellor, PJTSAU had cut the cake and he wished the teaching, non teaching and out sourcing staff of the university. Later he spoke on this occasion, while he speaking at this program Dr. V. Praveen Rao has said that , with the efforts of the Chief Minister Sri K Chandra Shekar Rao, lakhs of acres of land is comes under irrigation in the Telangana State. The irrigation facility has increased many a folds in the state he said. Dr V. Praveen Rao said that, with the increased irrigation facility, there is a need to put efforts by the University to enhance the crop productivity and develop new varieties which suitable for the present ecological conditions prevails in the state and also there is need to educate the farmers about the sustainable water management for various crops. Dr. V. Praveen Rao has stated that, the university has become role model for many a universities in the country by implementing several reforms in teaching , research , extension and administrative activities he added. He gave the credit to all the teaching, non teaching and out sourcing staff and urged the same efforts & cooperation is to be extended in the new year also he added. Registrar, Dr. S.
