Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized Training programme on cotton pest and disease management in present scenario followed by field visits (Cotton and Rice nurseries) on 18-07-2022 at Sriramagiri village. In the meeting, Sri P. Jalender Naik, SMS (Plant Protection) was coordinated the meeting. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension) addressed the gathering. Later, Dr. E. Rambabu SMS (Horticulture) Explained about chilli nursery management in present situation, after that, Sri. P. Jalender naik SMS (Plant protection) briefed about Management practices that should be take up of heavy rainfall damaged crops of Paddy, Cotton, Maize etc. Later, Sri B. Ashok, Agriculture Extension Officer, Sriramagiri explained the importane of phosphorous solubulizing bacteria. In this programme, Village Sarpanch Smt. D. Jyothi and progressive farmers Sri B. Agamaiah and Sri P. Ashok shared their experiences in Cotton, Chilli and direct sown Paddy and 34 numbers of farmers and women farmers participated in the programme.
