Professor Jayashankar 86th birth anniversary celebrations at PJTSAU, Hyderabad on 06-08-2019

Rich tributes were paid to Telangana Ideologue Prof. Jayashankar on his 86th birth anniversary at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad on 06-08-2019. University Vice Chancellor Dr. V. Praveen Rao said that Prof. Jayashankar fought for separate Telanagana statehood with selflessly. He said Prof. Jayashankar had prepared several reports on the injustice being done in the budgetary allocations, jobs and water allocations to the Telangana region. He submitted the reports right from the Fazal Ali Commission to serveral other committees, he added. Asking to take inspiration from Prof. Jayashakar, Dr. Rao urged the scientists and young scienctists and researchers in particular that they have to play a key role for the betterment of the farmers in the state. Earlier, the VC garlanded the statue of Prof. Jayashankar and paid floral tributes. Dr. S. Sudheer Kumar, Registrar, other University Officers, several Teachers and Non-Teaching staff, outsourcing Employees also paid floral tributes. Later, a meeting was organised in the Univesity Auditorium where a large number of students and teaching and non-teaching staff members attended. A personality development program was also organised on the occation at the University Auditorium by the motivatinal sepeaker R. Rajesh Murthy.
