Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) at College of Food Science and Technology, Rudrur on 31-10-2019

The following events were conducted on the occassion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.

1. Run for Unity by NSS volunteers: Unity run was conducted in College of Food Science & Technology, Rudrur on 31.10.2019 at 11.30 AM. All teaching, non-teaching staff and students participated in the run that was conducted from CFST college campus to Rudrur town. During unity run, students raised the slogans about unity, integrity and security of nation to create awareness among the people.
2. Celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) at College of Food Science and Technology, Rudrur on 31.10.2019. The Teaching staff, non-teaching staff, outsourcing staff and students participated in the event. Er. G. Rajender, Officer incharge of NSS, College of Food Science & Technology, Rudrur, and Invited Chief Guest Dr. M. Venkataiah Principal Scientist & Head, RS & RRS, Rudrur, teaching, non teaching and students have paid tributes to the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. After paying tributes, the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge was taken by all staff and students of CFST, Rudrur. After the pledge, students were invited to speak few words about national unity day. Then Er. G. Rajender, Asst. Professor had spoken about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and his effort towards unification of India. Dr. M. Venkataiah, Principal Scientist & Head spoke about importance of National Unity Day and gave suggestions to all students regarding the maintenance of unity, integrity and security in India. Prizes were distributed to the winners of sports and essay writing competitions.
Finally Officer in-charge of NSS has given vote of thanks. Later refreshments were served at the venue to all the participants. 3. Essay writing competitions: Conducted Essay writing (Telugu & English) competitions on 30.10.2019 and distributed prizes in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebration organized on 31.10.2019 at CFST, Rudrur.
4. Sports Activities: Conducted Sports for both boys and girls from 29.10.2019 to 30.10.2019 and distributed prizes in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebration organized on 31.10.2019.
