Rythu Sadassu Agriculture Exhibition organised by DAATTC, Yadadri Bhuvangiri on 19-01-2021

Rythu sadassu cum Agriculture exhibition was organized by RAWEP students with the guidelines of DAATTC, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, in collaboration with department of Agriculture, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri in Alaru village and Mandal of district at ADA office premesis on 19-01- 2020. Smt.Gonigidi Sunitha Mahendar reddy gaaru, Honuorable MLA & Govt.Whip are are the chief guests of the programme.Smt.Gonigidi Sunitha Mahendar Reddy gaaru, Honourable MLA & Govt.Whip, Shri.A.Sandeep Reddy gaaru, Honourable ZP Chairman, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri inaugurated the Exhibition stall. The total of 59 students of PJTSAU from different Colleges i.e Agricultural College Jagitial Rajendranagar, Aswaraopeta, Palem, Warangal and Agricultural Engineering, Sangareddy The students arranged about 57 stalls as a part of the Agriculture exhibition. The chief guests of the programme visited the models prepared and appreciated their efforts. The students exhibited the different models of concept, demonstrated and explained the various issues like Methodology of soil sample collection, Popular rice cultures of the university, Alternate wetting and drying in Rice, Drum seeder, Machine transplantation, watershed, Integrated pest management of Rice and cotton, Integrated farming systems, cotton stubbles management, Solar Fencing, Millets importance, Rain water harvesting, Monkey gun, waste decomposer, Waste management. More than 250 farmers have utilized the opportunity and visited the exhibition models.After the exhibition Sh.G.Narendar, Scientist (Crop Production) and Coordinator (i/c) welcomed the guests on to the Dais and programme started by lightening of lamp followed by University Song. Later he explained the Aim and importance of RAWEP and brief activities done by RAWE students in toto to the dignitaries, officials and farmers. Sh.B.R.Madhusekar, Scientist (TOT) explained about the Nursery management of Rabi Rice and Zinc deficiency in Rabi and remedies. Dr.M.Shankaraih gaaru, Programme coordinator, KVK,Kampasagar addressed the problematic soil and remedies in detail. Dr.Pallavi SMS(Extension), KVK,Kampasagar shared information of different agricultural mobile applications. Dr.Naresh, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Gaddipally explained about the pest and diseases of Mango. Smt.Anuradha gaaru, DAO,Yadadri Bhuvangiri addressed the different schemes in Agricultural department. Smt.Annapurna gaaru, DHSO, Yadadri bhuvanagiri briefed about the departmental schemes and subsides. Smt.Gongidi sunitha MLA and Govt.whip explained the need for strengthening of FPO’s in Aleru and motivated the farmers to establishment of new FPO have and appreciated the RAWEP students. Students from different villages shared their experience about the RAWEP and Few host farmers expressed that the programme is very helpful to the villages also as this increases the practical knowledge and continuous Field visits.
