Telangana Jateeya Samaikyata Vajrotsavalu celebrated at Agricultural College, Sircilla on 17th September, 2022 wherein the students, teaching, non-teaching staff and out sourced personnel participated. On this occasion, Dr. R. Sathish, OISA initiated the programme by briefing the importance and significance of the day. Dr. K. Rajesh, Asst. Professor hoisted the National flag followed by honoring the National Anthem Song. He addressed the gathering and spoken that the Central government declared September 17th would be celebrated as Hyderabad Liberation Day. Telangana state declared it as ‘Telangana National Integration Day’. India got Independence on August 15, 1947 but the people of Hyderabad state got freedom, from Nizam rule, only in 17th September, 1948. Hence it is the important day in history of Hyderabad. He also emphasized that, it is our prime responsibility as proud citizens of our country to perform sincerely our duties for the progress and development of our country. He given message to encourage their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride as being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility and addressed the students their role for the nation’s wealth. All the participants paid their floral tributes to national leaders and finally the programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by OISA.
