Training cum Demonstration on Alternate Wetting and Drying in Rice under Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Project on 14-02-2020

One day Training cum Demonstration on “Alternate Wetting and Drying in Rice” was conducted on 14.02.2020 at Duggepally (V), Tripuraram (M) with the assistance of Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Nalgonda. The Chief Guest of the programme Hon’ble Nomula Narasimhaiah garu, MLA, Nagarjunasagar inaugurated and addressed the rice farmers about judicious use of irrigation and electricity supplied by Govt. of Telangana. Dr. M. A. Aariff Khan, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar addressed the farmers about importance of alternate Wetting and Drying technology and installation of PVC parcolated pipe (device) in rice fields. Dr. T. Bharath, Scientist (Crop Production) cum Training Incharge, KVK, Kampasagar explained and demonstrated AWD technology in farmer field. G.Narender, Coordinator, DAATTC, Nalgonda, K.Janaiah garu, AMC Chairman, Nidamanur, Sarpanch, Duggepally other Public represantatives and rice farmers (30 No.) of different villages were participated.
