Conducted Training cum awareness programme on importance of Jal Shakthi Abhiyan and soil water conservation at Nakrekal cluster by KVK, Kampasagar on 29-04-2022

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kampasagar and District Rural development Agency Nalgonda Conducted Training cum awareness programme on collaborative mode on importance of Jal Shakthi Abhiyan and soil water conservation at Nakrekal cluster on 29.04.2022. Dr. T. Bharath, Scientist (Crop Production) explained about the creation/maintenance of water conservation & rainwater harvesting structures; renovation of traditional and other water bodies/ tanks; reuse and recharge of bore wells; watershed development; and intensive afforestation of Organic manures in improving soil organic matter content and also explained how to collect soil sample(Dos and Don’ts) and importance of STCR based fertilizer application in paddy and advised farmers to go for soil testing before every year. He also stressed on Soil health cards and its importance. Smt. Kalanidini, Project Director, DRDO Nalgonda spoke on importance of Jal Shakthi Abhiyan and Salient Features of the Jal Shakti Abhiyan like Water conservation and rainwater harvesting, Renovation of traditional and other water bodies/tanks, Reuse and recharge structures, Watershed development and Intensive afforestation. Later Advised field workers to utilize self employement opportunity. MPDO, TA,APO,APDs and 150 Field workers were participated in two programmes
