Training Programme on Commercial Horticulture Nursery Management on 05-02-2020 at Agricultural College, Aswaraopet

One day training programme on “Commercial Horticulture Nursery Management” was conducted on 5.02.2020 at Agricultural College, Aswaraopet under ICAR - SC Sub Plan (SC-SP). Dr. C.Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Aswaraopet inaugurated and addressed the SC farmers about importance of nurseries in increasing of farmers income and marketing of nursery plants. Dr.I.V.Srinivasa Reddy, Associate Professor, Dept.of Horticulture in technical session created awareness and trained farmers on various nursery techniques like Grafting, Budding, Layering, Commercial nursery raising in different fruit crops. Associate Dean also distributed guava layers and Cashew grafts to participants. SC farmers (50 No.) of adopted village Narayana puram, Perai gudem and Aswaraopet and Agricultural College, Aswaraopet Associate Professors and Assistant Professors were participated in the programme.
