Training programme on Entrepreneurship Development through promotion of Integrated Farming System at KVK, Kampasagar

Three days training programme on “Entrepreneurship Development through Promotion of Integrated Farming System” was conducted under ARYA Project from 10.02.2020 to 12.02.2020 at KVK, Kampasagar. The trainees (30 No.) were rural youth of different villages in the district. Dr. M. A. Aariff Khan, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar inaugurated and addressed the Rural Youth about the role of self employment through Integrated Farming System on 10.02.2020. Dr.T.Bharath, SMS (Crop Production) training programme incharge created awareness on importance of Farming System. Dr. Kiran Reddy, Scientist (Soil Science), AICRP-IFS, Rajendranagar taken technical session on different models of IFS for wet and Dryland condition. On Day 2 Dr. K. Avil Kumar, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Palem attended as Chief Guest and briefed integrated farming will help in environmental protection through effective recycling of waste from animal activities like piggery, poultry and pigeon rearing. G.Narender, Coordinator cum Scientist (Agronomy) created awareness on Goat and Sheep rearing. On Day 3 and last day Dr. N.Nalini, Scientist (Agronomy), RARS, Palem as resource person and briefed on soil fertility management through IFS. Post evaluation test conducted and feedback was taken from trainees and expressed their satisfaction for successful learning of Integrated Farming System. In valedictory programme as Chief Guest Dr. I. Swarnalatha Devi, Principal Scientist & Head, ARS, Kampasagar and Dr. K. Sumalini, Vice Principal, APT, Kampasagar present the occasion and distributed the certificates and booklets on IFS to trainees.
