Training programs on Waste Management, Leadership Development and Market led Extension were commenced at EEI, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad on 21-09-2021

At Extension Education Institute, PJTSAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, three 5 days training programmes on “Leadership Development for Enhancing Organizational Efficiency”, “Waste Management in Agriculture and Allied Sectors” and “Market led Extension for the Officers of Horticulture Sector” are inaugurated on 21.09.2021. 1st training programme on Leadership Development for Enhancing Organizational Efficiency is a collaborative training programme with MANAGE, Hyderabad and around 50 participants from Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Manipur, Bihar, Maharastra, Guwahati, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry representing agriculture & allied sectors joined the programme. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI on 21st September 2021. Welcoming the gathering, Dr. R. Vasantha, Professor and Coordinator, EEI explained the purpose, objectives, daily schedule of the programme and certain do’s and dont’s to be observed by the participants for the smooth conduct of the programme. Dr. Reddy, in his inaugural address stressed the importance of effective Leadership for an organization as it helps to direct an organization's resources for improved efficiency and achievement of goals. He reiterated that an effective leader creates a vision and can motivate people to make it a reality and made a call to all participants to become good leaders after practicing the learnings of the training. Dr. M. Preethi, Professor and Coordinator, EEI proposed vote of thanks. 2nd training programme on Waste Management in Agriculture and Allied Sectors is being organized with 72 agriculture & allied officers from all South India states. During inauguration Dr.I.Sreenivasa Rao, Sr. Professor stressed the importance of waste management and how to reduce, reuse and recycle the waste in agriculture and allied sectors. Dr.P.Vijaya Lakshmi, Professor explained the need of the programme and proposed vote of thanks. 3rd training programme on Market led Extension for the Officers of Horticulture Sector was inaugurated by Dr.M.Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI, around 25 participants from Telangana, Odisha and Karnataka were attending the training programme. In his inaugural address, he detailed the importance of market led extension to the horticultural officers. Dr.D.Shireesha, Asst. Professor proposed the vote of thanks to the trainees.
