University Foundation Day Celebrations at Agricultural College, Warangal on 03-09-2019

Fifth University Foundation Day was celebrated at Agricultural College, Warangal on 3rd September, 2019. Dr. A. Venkat Reddy, Professor & OIAM invited dignitaries on to the dias. Dr. P. Jagan Mohan Rao, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Warangal attended as the Special guest to the event. Dr. K. Mohan Rao, Principal (Retd.) and Sri. B. Gopal Rao, Executive Engineer (Retd.) were Chief guests on this occasion followed by Invocation song by Gayathri Goud (3rd yr student) and lighting of the lamp. The event was Chaired by Dr. T. Ramesh, Associate Dean who informed the students, about the university bifurcation from ANGRAU as PJTSAU and encouraged the students to be competitive, skill oriented and entrepreneurial. Dr. P. Jagan Mohan Rao, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Warangal informed that university was competent enough in releasing 15 new varieties and marked a good beginning after the bifurcation of the university. He motivated the students to be responsible for the upliftment of farming community and encouraged the students to love their profession to succeed. Later, Dr. K. Mohan Rao, Principal (Retd.) of CKM, college enlightened the students about career development and personality development. He had given an idea to the administration to establish incubation centre in the college with collaboration of Kakatiya University Engineering College & KITS College. Sri. B. Gopal Rao, Executive Engineer (Retd.) explained about the Irrigation projects (Kaleshwaram) happening in Telangana. At last certificates were distributed to the students who participated in the sports, cultural & literary competitions conducted as a part of 5th foundation day celebrations. Finally, a vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. J. Kamalakar, Officer In-charge Student affairs, thanking each and everyone for the successful conduct of the event.
