Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of PJTSAU meets Hon'ble Governor of Telangana State on 17-09-2019

Dr.V.Praveen Rao, Vice Chancellor of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) met the new Governer of Telangana State Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan at Rajbhavan on 17.09.2019.The Vice Chancellor explained about the University activities in teaching, research and extension and also discussed about the doubling of farmers income, organic farming etc. Further VC appraised about the PJTSAU's National and International collaborations with prestigious Institutions in India and abroad, students’ teachers exchange programs. The Hon’ble Governor was happy on knowing the strides of progress made by the University which was evident in the ranking of Agricultural Universities by ICAR as the University stood at 6th place consecutively for two years. Dr.V. Praveen Rao has invited the Hon'ble Governor for inaugurating the Regional workshop on "Youth as a Torch bearer for Business Oriented Agriculture” which is proposed to be conducted during October, 2019.
